AVEM Membership Types

AVEM has two classes of membership:

  • Members - Members must be vacuum equipment manufacturers. The AVEM Bylaws define a "manufacturer" as a proprietorship or corporation which produces vacuum equipment or has equipment produced for it, and sells such equipment under its own name and in the regular course of business.
  • Associate Members - Associate Members must be persons, firms or corporations that engage in business in the vacuum equipment industry, but do not qualify as Members.
