MAT-VAC™ Technology, Inc., located in Northern Florida, part of the high-tech corridor that includes the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral, was established in 1993 for the purpose of providing thin film batch sputtering equipment, coating services, and high purity materials. Our large, international, high tech customer base includes Universities, R&D facilities and Production organizations involved with Vacuum and Physical Vapor Deposition/Thin Film Applications.
Our experience in these areas is strengthened by the guidance of company founder, Joseph L. Michaud, with his 30 years of relevant industry experience in technical marketing positions with Cerac, CVC Products, Perkin-Elmer Corp., and as a product manager for the MRC900/600 series load lock in-line batch sputtering system products for Materials Research Corporation (MRC), In this capacity, Mr. Michaud was instrumental in the design and introduction of the MRC 943 sputtering system. Now, Mr. Michaud has formed a team of aerospace engineers and spearheaded the development of a product line of innovative load lock in-line and cylindrical batch sputtering system products, the new MAT-VAC™ Technology, Inc. “Universal Sputterer™” series of sputtering systems.
