Tuthill Vacuum & Blower Systems (TVBS), manufacturer of Kinney^® vacuum pumps and M-D Pneumatics™ blowers, is a leader in the design and manufacture of high performance, reliable mechanical vacuum pumps, rotary blowers and systems. One of TVBS’ predecessors, Kinney Vacuum Company, founded by J. Royal Kinney in 1902, is historically known for the design and introduction in 1907 of the first oil-sealed rotary piston vacuum pump. In the years following, the Kinney design would find acceptance in a rapidly expanding list of industrial applications.

Today, TVBS continues its leadership role in the industry, as an international manufacturer of vacuum equipment for industrial applications through the supply of rotary piston pumps, liquid ring pumps, dry vacuum pumps, rotary vane pumps, and rotary blowers, as well as complete, packaged Engineered Solutions, ready to install and run.

Both Kinney^® vacuum pumps and M-D Pneumatics blowers are manufactured in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Springfield, Missouri. This facility is designed to maximize manufacturing efficiency and quality assurance (ISO 9001 registered) from receipt of rough castings through machining, assembly and testing of finished products. Our AF liquid ring pump line is maintenance-free. These “abuser-friendly” vacuum pumps are available in either close-coupled or pedestal mounted designs, and have developed over the past thirty years into the de facto standard liquid ring pumps for applications in extruded plastics, soil remediation, and extraction of natural gas from wells.

Rotary Piston Pumps – Our rotary piston pumps are renowned for their durability and reliability, with some pumps in continuous service for over 70 years.

• KD™ & KDH™ – Single-stage, duplex pumps ranging from 33-150 CFM (56-255 m³/h).
• KT™ – Vibration-free, single-stage, triplex pumps ranging from 70-778 CFM (119-1322 m³/h).
• KC™ & KTC™ Two-stage rotary piston pumps achieve the deepest vacuum levels available from a mechanical vacuum pump. Our KTC pump also incorporates the unique Kinney® triplex piston arrangement for vibration-free operation. Pump sizes range from 5-107 CFM (9-182 m³/h).

SDV™ Dry Screw Pumps – Our SDV dry, screw type vacuum pumps achieve deep vacuum without sealing fluids in contact with the process, and include a patented, variable pitch rotor design that decreases power requirements by up to 30%, and reducing discharge temperatures. Pump sizes range from 71-1588 CFM (120-2700 m³/h).

Liquid Ring Pumps – ideal for chemical and pharmaceutical processing applications.

• KLRC™ – includes advanced rotor design features that increase volumetric efficiency. Pump sizes range from 35-990 CFM (60-1680 m³/h).
• A & T series – These “abuser-friendly” pump lines, incorporating axial flow technology into single-stage and two-stage designs. Pump sizes range from 5-600 CFM (9-1020 m³/h).

Rotary Vane Pumps – Oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps are designed for high performance and minimal vibration.

• KSV/KSVB are ideally suited for clean or moderately contaminated applications, incorporate direct drive motors and integral oil mist eliminators. Pump sizes range from 18-677 CFM/30-1150 m³/h
• KVAC pumps are utilized in laboratories and industrial settings where low flow and high vacuum are required. Pump sizes range from 1.4-42 CFM (2.4-71 m_³/h).

Rotary Positive Displacement Blowers – Lobe type blowers and vacuum boosters for high volume air and gas handling to 9000 CFM (15300 m³/h)
